Dave Mooney - Owner

Uploaded File: sean-nava.jpgDave Mooney has been in the pre-­‐‑owned Volvo sales business for over 30 years. In that time, his customer base and following has grown and expanded into the Company we know today, Precision Volvo. 

His knowledge of the Volvo car line and the constantly-­‐‑changing pre-­‐‑owned car market, has allowed him to stay one step ahead of the competition. He has always worked for himself, and more importantly, for his customers. This is what has always made him stand out with his customers.

You’re not just buying a pre-­‐‑owned Volvo from Precision, you are buying a value that he created in the used car market locally. His loyalty, and love of the Volvo brand is what has built that value in the product he sells.

His successful business model is proven, by his long, deep rooted customer base.

Sean Nava - Owner

Uploaded File: sean-nava.jpgSean Nava opened the Precision Service department with the help of Dave Mooney in 2003, after working in various fields of the automotive enterprises at several local businesses. Sean operates the Precision Service department solely, growing the business on his skills, honesty, and knowledge of the Volvo line.   Sean has earned the trust and loyalty of thousands of local, and out of state Volvo owners from his honest dedication to improving their automotive experience, and as being a stand-out from other Volvo Sales and Service facilities. 

Sean has been certified by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles as having completed the following courses:

  • {1998} Automotive Technician Training Program (ATTP), which included studies in the areas of Advanced Computer and Emission Systems (ACES), Computerized Automotive Performance Systems (CAPS) and Fuel Injection Systems Training (FIST).
  • {1998} Fundamental Engine Electronics Training (FEET) and Systems Training in Emissions and Performed (STEP).
  • Sean is also EOA 609 certified.

Dan Walden - Shop Manager & Master Technician

Uploaded File: dan-walden.jpgIn 2002, Dan graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona with his Associate’s Degree in automotive technology. With his time at UTI, he studied automotive,diesel, and industrial technology. Dan also received factory certified Ford training. After he graduated from UTI, he was accepted into the Volvo SAFE post- graduate program. During his time in the SAFE program, he received all the necessary training to become a Master Technician with Volvo.

Before graduating from the Volvo program, Dan moved to New York in September of 2002 and took a job with Keeler Volvo. He worked for Keeler Volvo from 2002 to December of 2006. At his time in the dealership, he continued his training and received the rating of Master Technician.

In the spring of 2007, Dan joined us at Precision and has been here since. Dan is a NY state certified inspector and has his EPA 609 certification.

Tom O'Brien - Master Technician

Uploaded File: tom-obrien.jpgTom has been in the automotive field for over 25 years. He has been an ASE certified master technician, and most of his experience is in foreign car repair. Tom has had extensive experience with VW/AUDI and Volvo automobiles. He also has volunteered for many years for two different aircraft museums rebuilding WW1 and WW2 aircrafts. 

Tom is a NY state certified inspector. He was the very first employee at Precision, and has played a key part in growing Precision to the size it is today. Through his time at Precision, Tom has gained the trust and loyalty of our customers.

Ellis Pearson - Sales

Uploaded File: tom-obrien.jpgEllis Pearson brings with him 42 years of Volvo product knowledge and sales experience. His reputation for excellent customer service, both before and after the sale, is what makes him one of the best-known Volvo salesmen in the area. 

We are truly privileged to have him as part of the Precision team!
